Hi !!!

Few days ago I answered a thread about Evoleht that is 'the love' backside and we talked about Nevaeh 'heaven' too.

Now I find another feminine name: Aerith that is a bit elaborated anagram of Earth.

Not a fan of Final Fantasy at all I just say the new anagram.

How about it?
Have you seen it in real life?

Do you recognise immediately that is tied with earth?

I love Aerith both the name and the character, also another way to spell her name is Aeris!

From the name submission, I guess that was the game developers intention, but it doesn't really read that way to me. I actually associate it more with air than with earth, just by the sound.

I do immediately associate it with Final Fantasy though.

I didn't see it as a form of Earth at all! I thought it was a strange way to spell Arith, as in Arithmetic, and a strange thing to want to do. And I still think it's weird, and not in a good way at all. Earth? The planet? The muddy stuff you scrape off your shoes? Really?

It is said that could be an anagram of it.

In my opinion it is not so bad.
Well..I would not use it..but it is nice.

It's not as bad as Nevaeh and Evoleht, at least Aerith looks like a name. But I didn't get "Earth" until I read your post (actually I thought "thirea?!").
I like both Edith and Ferelith, so the -ith ending is nice. I guess there are worse names out there, even if I would't say I like it.
