I like Robin very much - seems lighter and livelier than Robert and they're both family names, so it would be my choice.
I dislike Mason a lot, though not as much as I dislike Maeson (I know one!).
Dominic is very pleasant indeed; the problem is that it shortens naturally to Dom, which is a cognate of 'dumb' and actually means 'stupid' in Afrikaans. So I'd be happy to see it and even consider it, if I lived somewhere else.
