I'm studying Romanian too!
But I kind of fired my tutor (45 minutes late was the closest he had ever been on time to one of our scheduled meetings and he cancelled a number of them after I was already there waiting) so I've been considering trying to teach myself the basics before I hire someone else. idk.
It seems like a beautiful language. It's fun to listen to others speak. I'm making myself learn at least the basics before I visit which I really want to do (even though I know they all speak English).
