It's adorable!
People seem to automatically dislike Bert because you're supposed to find it ugly but I think it's kind and sweet and very endearing.
And I had a great-uncle named Bert who I was very close to so nothing but good associations for me. Bert is a name I'd love to use as a middle name.

Bert? Bert?! lol
Bert's not a bad name but it just sounds so weird on a little kid. There was a guy named Bert (he had a twin named Bart; I swear I can't make this stuff up) who was several years older than me when I was growing up in Oklahoma. They were sort of friends of one of my older boy cousins. Very redneck and I think one was involved in a (non-fatal) shooting incident. Anyway, even back then I thought Bert was funny because the only other Bert I knew was on Sesame Street.
