If my full name was Eevee, I'd feel like I'd missed out because it could have been something like Elowen Vashti (E.V.) "Eevee" instead.
I don't think Eevee is a terrible spelling for Evie; at least no one's going to mispronounce it. The pokémon association is irrelevant to me.

I wouldn't bet on no one mispronouncing it. My name is spelled phonetically, and it gets mispronounced all the time. You're giving people too much credit, haha.
