Does anyone have anything nice to say about Kailyn?I don't particularly like the name, I'm just wondering if it has any fans. Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

It’s the name of my aunt. I always thought it was really pretty, and it suits her perfectly. :-)

The look of it is dated to the 80s and 90s, but if I listen to the sound of it objectively, I kind of like it. I picture a female knight, breaking down barriers like a feminine Sir Kai. It isn’t a name that I would use, but I like it a little more than some of the other names from the K period.I have met a Kalyne, which is pronounced differently but has a similar feel. She was an energetic and creative person with a take charge attitude.

I don't particularly care for it. It sounds incomplete and very infantile. A trendy and modern name that won't stand the test of time. It has been decreasing in popularity over the last few years and by next May, I think it could very well drop from the charts. Oh well, wouldn't be a loss :P

It's sort of cute. It's better than Kaitlyn. I've met a lot of people with variations on this name (Cailin, Kaylin, etc.)

Not only does it fit in with the now-dated insubstantial K-l- names (Kylie/Keely/Kaylee/etc.), but it also fits with the becoming-dated -lyn names (Brooklyn/Irelyn//Braelyn/etc.)Not my style.

I don't like it. Caley is OK, but Kailyn sounds too trendy.

Nope; sorry. It's just flimsy.

I've actually liked Kailyn for a few years. Not enough to actually use it, but still. I like Kailey more though.

I think if I didn't already have so many negative associations with it... culturally? and I didn't already associate combinations of syllables like these with flimsiness and/or contrivance, I'd think the sound alone was somewhat attractive. I admit to preferring Caitlin, though.

Unfortunately I’m not a fan. It looks like a typo for Kaitlyn.
