Sapphire or Seraphina
Which do you prefer and why? Or which is the least worst of you don't like either?http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/167578

Sapphire.I really love this name, sapphire is my favourite gem stone and one of my favourite colours. I also like Safira, or maybe even more.

I will go with Seraphina. It seems more like a name than Sapphire is.

SapphireSapphire is clunky and corny and verging on dumb, but there's also something simple and cool about it. I love it in the most guilty way.Seraphina, however, really annoys me. It's like Isabella or Serena turned up to eleven, too frilly even for me, too pretty pink princess but in the knowingly designed way and not in an ironic, eye-winking way. I really, really dislike it. It's got this vibe of trying too hard and...something else I can't put my finger on, something unpleasant.I prefer Seraphine to Seraphina. It still has a lot of the same baggage, but it's sleeker and cooler and a little, tiny little bit less frilly.

SeraphinaSeraphina feels a bit stronger, and I like the meaning. Sapphire is nice, and I like the colour, but I’m not too sure about it.

I like both, but I prefer Seraphina.

SeraphinaSapphire is pretty, but I am not generally fond of jewel names like Diamond, Crystal, and Emerald. I associate Sapphire more as a pet name. Seraphina is gorgeous and has an interesting history around it. I love the meaning "fiery ones."

I dislike Sapphire rather more than Seraphina; that isn't to say that I like Seraphina, but it is the same shape as familiar names like Josephine/Josephina, Georgiana etc so it edges ahead of Sapphire which is like nothing but itself - a jewel name, which I don't enjoy at all.

Hi !!!I pick Sapphire this time. I love the name Serafina while its 'ph' form is ok but worse than it imo.

I like Seraphina and would consider using it as a middle name. I don't like Sapphire though, but I'm not a big fan of word names, virtue names, gemstones etc. I think they can come of as a bit 'cheap'.
