I like it. I like the spelling Tamzen.

I've really grown to like this. I like the sound and feel of it. I'm not crazy about the meaning but that is the only draw back.

I really like it. I also like Tamsyn but it's not a popular spelling.

Love it. It’s one of my favourite names.

Better than Thomasina! But rather flimsy and very dated to the 70s. The only one I've known IRL was an early 80s baby.

I really like Tamsin. I'd be tempted to spell it Tamzin (like British actress Tamzin Outhwaite) although the "I'm Tamzin with a z" hassle may in reality put me off!
I also like Tamar - a name with a completely different origin, of course.

I adore this name. However, Tammy just makes me think of a 1960s woman with a bouffant hairdo who thinks that women have to be nurses because they're not smart enough to be doctors, and also thinks of the nursing profession mainly as a means to snag a doctor, so even though I don't think Tamsin needs a nickname or always results in one, I'd still fear Tammy enough not to use Tamsin.

Hi Janan !!!Unfortunately my only link with this names and its forms is The Butcher in 'American Horror Story: Roanoke' (Thomasin/Thomasyn White). Not usable in my case.I much prefer Tansy.

Not bad. I like Tasnim and this isn't that much different, although Tasnim has a much better meaning :)

Tamsin ends in a short -in whereas Tasnim is tas-NEEM, so to my ears they sound really different!

Yes they do. However the look of a name is important to me as well. Soundwise Tamsin sounds to me like the cheerful little sister of Tasnim :)
