Es-may. I think it is gorgeous. I can envision a princessy type girl, not snotty but pretty and the propper type, a perfectionist, but not in a bad way.

It's been widely used for many years among the Afrikaans-speaking population here in South Africa, but I'd be surprised and pleased to meet a young one.

I've found people's recent fascination with this name perplexing. It just does not look or sound like a real name to me.

I love it!!!! But I always get the Twilight connotation with it with and eye roll. I think it is a beautiful name
