Ingrid
I've been thinking about Ingrid lately. I like it a lot but I'm worried it's a little clunky, especially since my SO's surname is also a Scandinavian name ending in D. Maybe it would be a little less noticeably clunky as a middle name?Thoughts on Ingrid? Any combos you like?

you taught me the courage of stars before you left
how light carries on endlessly, even after death
with shortness of breath, you explained the infinite
how rare and beautiful it is to even exist

I love the name Ingrid. Doesn’t feel old lady to me even if it is. If you’re concerned with the d ending, Inger is a great alternative.

It's beautiful. I wouldn't see myself using it.

I like the name Ingrid. It sounds very mystical to me and doesn't sound clunky at all. I like the combination Ingrid Helena.

I love Ingrid! My favorite combo for the last month or two has been Ingrid Rosemary. I also have liked Ingrid Greta and Ingrid Flora.

It looks very stereotypically Swedish, like the name a character would have in a language textbook.Incidentally, the one Ingrid I know is originally from Chile, short and brunette.
