Don't like it

I love it but I have no guts to use it in real life.

I think it's a fairly nice name, classic and underused with a feminine flare. (: A great-grandmother on my dad's side of the family had this name, apparently pronounced with a soft V (Vee-O-la) although personally I much prefer vie-O-la., probably since it's closer in sound to 'Violet', a long-time favorite of mine.

I can only think of the instrument.

I like it pronounced Vee-ola, not Vay-ola.

I love it, but only as Vee-OH-luh. Like that I think it’s gorgeous, interesting, nice and bright too.

I love it! I'm such a huge fan of names starting with V, and this is no exception.

I think it’s lovely. I often forget about it but it really is very pretty.

It sounds a bit insubstantial to me, and the pronunciation is confusing - I'd go with vee-o-lə, but vie-o-lə appears more common. I do like the connotation with Twelfth Night, though.

I really want to like it. It looks pretty, it has nice Shakespearean associations but said out loud I just hear hear the musical instrument.

SameIt look gorgeous, it ticks so many of my boxes: it's short, ends with an "a", has a "v" in it. I even love all the sounds. But hearing this name makes a viola materialise in my mind instantly.
