Tamar (m)
I don't like the sound of "tam." I only like Tamar and Tamara when they are pronounced with an emphasis on the second syllable (ta-MAR and ta-MAR-a). Tamsin and Tammy I don't like at all because the "tam" is so prominent.I think Tamar is lovely. Tamara has a little less gravitas. Both remind me of tamarind trees.Thomasin, Thomasine, and Thomasina are very wholesome. My favorite is Thomasin.
