Re: Redemption, and a question
I can't see it on any human whatsoever, and I hope I never do. Is there any evidence about what people with Puritan names - real Puritan people at the time - were actually known as? Would a teacher have called Praise-God lazy and inattentive? Might a grandparent have handed a plate of strawberries to little Redemption, or to Dempy? Or was everyone so uniformly Puritan that only the full name would do?
