Indira
Today's Name of the Day is Indira. Wdyt?My instinct is to pronounce this in-DEE-rah / in-DEER-uh due to its visual similarity to India. However, I think the actual pronunciation is IN-(di)-rah, closer to Indra. Either way, I think it's lovely.***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381

Indira is gorgeous! It is among the most beautiful names, so the meaning is very fitting. I pronounce it similar to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoiLcS5eXPc

Love it. Indira is absolutely stunning! Exotically beautiful and rare as well. I once knew an adorable little girl with this name (Though not of Indian descent but of German with light features) and although that may seem unusual, it's truly a wonderful name nevertheless. (:

It's lovely. I like Indra as well. But I do pronounce them differently. When Indira Ghandi was living I always heard her name pronounced as In-DEER-uh.
