Eros
Thoughts on this as a name? I do know about Eros and all of its meaning, but recently met an Italian man baring the name. I quite liked hearing it as a name actually.. it's the sound of the name that I love.. and was curious of your thoughts. (He as a person bore no resemblance to the definition - was a rather humble older gentleman.)

I luv it. This is a name of Greek God of love. I only know an Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti. His Celtic variant is Angus.

Hmm I feel like it comes off as a very heavy-handed name of a main character in a romance novel. I couldn't imagine it on a kid. Like, if an adult just materialized with that name or decided to change their name to Eros I'd be like "cool! Power to ya" but naming a baby Eros sounds like a bad move.

Sexy! I like it for the romantic vibes.

Not a fan. I also have a personal association that tampers it even more for me.

Don't like it

Without the associated baggage, it's a handsome name. It's like a much sexier Amos. Probably easier to bear than Adonis!
