It's really nice.
Not sure why it seemed to miss the boat of -issa names being very popular in the late nineties / 00s. Maybe it was because of Calista Flockhart as Ally McBeal (very popular tv show at the time). I guess it's good though, that it wasn't as big - that means people might still pick it up as a baby name in the future.
I have trouble deciding between Callista and Calista. I also like Kallisto, more as a middle name.
The only thing I kinda don't like about Calista, are the very likely nicknames Callie or Lissy / Lissa.
