Lucia is lovely. I really like it. I also adore Lucy, but it’s not really usable in my neck of the wood. I pronounce it loo-SEE-a.

I love it, but only as loo-SEE-a.

Pronunciation issues; plus, I like Lucy so much that there isn't room for Lucia, Lucinda etc in my mind.

Love, but only as Loo-see-ah.

I don't know what I like or don't like anymore because there are so many different pronunciations and form of this name.
But there is one thing I'm sure about: I can't stand LOO-shə.

There are two main pronounces:
Loo-SEE-a (Spanish)
and
Loo-CHEE-a (Italian) (the ch like in "cherry").
It's simple.

When I was a kid, I thought loo-TSEE-a /luː.ˈtsiː.a/ is the right 'authentic' one, (dunno where it came from, it sounded 'proper' Latin* to me).*BtN says LOO-kee-a is Latin.

I Love it. By far my favourite of the Lucy names. I've never met a Lucia irl and I think it sounds so sweet but would also suit many people. Would consider using it.

Agree. Also, it has been overused for a very long time in Italy,-probably because of saint Lucia- so I associate Lucia to a (boring and ordinary) woman from her 40s to her 80s. Today, the variant Luce is more used. I sincerely don't really love it, but I find it way better than Lucia.
