Re: Few combos
in reply to a message by Felie
My personal opinion:Marika Tecla is a meh. Marika was trendy in 1990s while Tecla is very dated and unusual. Lucia Mafalda sounds classic and aristocratic. Lucia is common but combined with Mafalda seems upperclass and dignified.Luigina Lorita makes me think of a granny. Both are dated and I doubt that they will come back.Violante Pietra is particular. Violante is rare and unusual with a Medieval vibe but it's still used. Pietra literally means "stone" in Italian and it's rare too (Piera is the commonly-used variant). Giusy Cinzia Is boring in my opinion. I can figure a woman in her 40s or 50s but not younger than it.Personally I would use Violante Pietra and I'd like to meet a young Lucia Mafalda.Personal Name Lists https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/125456

I basically agree with you on all of them, although the Giusy and Luigina combos look foreign to me instead of dated. And I wouldn't have known Violante and Pietra are rare, but it'd have been my favorite still.
