The Rise and fall of Aidan and its variant spellings
What do you think of the name? What is your fave spelling? What name do you think "replaced" it? I think Liam because it quickly became popular, out of nowhere (?).

I still like it. I like the spelling Aiden more than Aidan, but that's fine too. I like a lot of the variants too. I'm not sure what replaced it yet, but maybe Liam.

I like Aiden because of the history. The first Anglo Saxon bishop of Lindisfarne was Aiden (now St. Aiden) what I dont like is the trend of Haydn, caden, Jayden, Braden..... these just sound chavvy

It's ok, bit dated and too many of the aidab, Brayden, Jayden names
