AJ looks best to me. A.J is my second favorite, it's just that if you're writing a period after it, it looks kinda weird. Like US and U.S. A-J just doesn't look right to be honest.

AJ, but this name is terrible. Oh if you’re new to this site in the rules it is preferred to use language like on spelling or a grammar test.

When people go by their initials, here in South Africa, they don't use full stops or hyphens; just the letters, without a space.Another spelling I prefer is 'you'. We try to avoid the kind of spelling shortcuts familiar from social media, because many people on this site are not first-language speakers of English and we try not to confuse them or make them feel left out.

I prefer A.J., but AJ isn't that bad either!

A. J.

A.J., with a period after each letter. The period isn’t for separation, it’s to show that each component is a stand-in for something longer. And that’s the only way I could get behind this… if the letters represent full names.

Agree! The initial thing feels so decades ago.
