Isotta
Isotta has been on my list for a while because it always felt like a name I should love, but I don't think I've genuinely loved it until now. It's dramatic, evocative of the Renaissance, and noble, and it has a whiff of legendary romance (as a variant of Isolde). What do you think? I'm also interested in Italians' perceptions of the name. Some combos:Isotta Margherita
Isotta Raffaella
Isotta Marianna
Isotta Maristella
Isotta Fiorella
Isotta Lucrezia
Isotta Letizia
Isotta Bibiana
Isotta Virginia
Isotta Valentina
Isotta Leontina
Isotta Ginevra
Isotta Fabiola
Isotta Sofonisba

Agree that Isolde sounds better.

I’d rather Isolde, but the story is too depressing anyway.
