Saw the name Merette on a graduation poster. My instinct would be to pronounce it like the word 'merit'. I think it's kind of cute!

What you do think of it? What does it make you think of? Is it a name you would ever consider using?

I’d probably say, “Mair-eht” (emphasis on the second syllable); though, it’s beautiful said like Merit. I think this name is alright.

I think this is nice. I think if it was turned into Meretta (which I would pronounce as meh-REH-ta), I would prefer it. I prefer Merita though.

Merette makes me think of similar names like Clarette and Merletta.

I wouldn't use Merette for a child. I would consider using if I was looking for names for a fictional character though.
