Maybe it depends on accent. To me it almost has 2.5 syllables. Will-ee-um isn’t quite an accurate description of pronunciation but neither is will-yum.http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/87410

That’s a fair assessment. My family member says it must be pronounced with 3 syllables but very quickly said or it sounds wrong.
