Not of my taste, but I can see why you'd like it; its pretty and both the suffix and prefix sound attractive. Though, I think Mariella looks better as the singular l makes it look incomplete to my eyes

What are some other good names? All names are beautiful dreams, little specks of pollen flitting on the flowers of culture. Names like Chiara, Delphine, Odessa, and Rehan are as artful and gorgeous as they can get, but they've been overshadowed by names like Charlotte and Liam over the years.

There is nothing wrong with having a popular name, of course. However, with some truly perennial classics out there, maybe we haven't been looking hard enough. It would certainly be more interesting to sit next to a Mariela for a change.
