I met a Tammara and thought WHY would anyone do this to her? Awful, wdyt of that spelling, Tamara and Tammy?

It's not so bad, although I definitely prefer Tamara. I've heard that this particular spelling is more common in Caribbean countries. At least it's not Tamyruh.
