Re: Days of the week
My first thought is the nursery rhyme:
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go.
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living.
But the child that is born on Sabbath day,
Is bonny and blithe, good and gay.Additionally, Friday reminds me of the character in "Robinson Crusoe," and Wednesday is, of course, associated with the Addams Family. I don't really care for the days of the week as names. It feels rather unimaginative to name a child after whichever day of the week they were born, but random to name a child after a day of the week that has no connection to them. Sunday is the nicest since it sounds like sunny days ahead and new beginnings.
