I can't picture Hock. (eta ok Hockley? I guess, sure) I think the others are conceivable.
I called my son Tater when he was little. (It started because we called his older sister Bean. It's hard to remember now, but I think these nicks were sort of an affectionate joke based on how infants are like a bean, or like a potato - can't really do anything yet).
I've met someone called Berry.
Cordi seems pretty intuitive for Cordelia.
Woof could happen for a Wolfgang.
