I came across this name today. I think it’s of Ethiopian origin and I find it rather pretty.
Thoughts?

It's strange but warm, a very interesting name! Like a combination of Herman and Pamela. I like it.

I don't like it. It looks like it's trying to be a feminine form of Herman, or a short form of Hermelinda.

I find it too close to Irmela for comfort. It's one of those lifetime-of-explaining names.
