Septimus
This is one of the more unusual names in my family tree, having been borne by my 6th great-grandfather, Septimus Rigg. What do you think of Septimus?Rate my PNL: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/242438

I adore its air of fantasy. Septimus sounds dignified and sumptuous.
I once knew a Septimus: vey nice man, so I've got good impressions of it. I wouldn't use it on an only child, of course, and the thought of having seven children (or, worse, seven sons!) is pretty daunting. No wonder parents run out of names by the time they hatch Number 7.
I hear it and I think "septum" and can't hear anything else. Not for me.
I remember this name making a few laps around the children's fantasy genre when I was growing up. Unfortunately, my immediate thought is 'septic tank' when I hear it, and it has never appealed to me because of that. I can't undo the connection.
Septimus Rigg is a name made for fantasy, though! That sounds rad. I'd totally read a book about his adventures.
I heard this name on the show Cranford and I thought it sounded so cool! Especially for the seventh born child, though honestly it might be a little ridiculous in real life idk. I guess a nn could be Tim / Timmy? Or Seppie is pretty cute.
It would be incredible if I met a Tim who was actually a Septimus. That's life-altering.
I've liked it since I read a book as a young teen where one of the characters were named this. I think it's cool. I wouldn't use it as a first name, but I think it's fine as a middle name.
Wow, that's epic. Septimus Rigg sounds like a badass. I like Septimus more than the trendy Seven.
It’s a intriguing name, but it does remind me of sepsis
I love numerical names, and Septimus is no exception! Septimus Rigg sounds like a Charles Dickens character, which I love.
100% second this.
"Sept" means seven. Was he the seventh child?
