Re: Wyatt, Owen, Beau, Levi & Jesse

Maybe you can help me understand why Beau is trying too hard? It's a funny comment for a one-syllable name! I was thinking of the actor Beau Bridges. For Levi, the only person I can think of with the name is chess personality Levy Rozman, slightly different spelling, and he pronounces it LEH-vee, but I do prefer LEE-vie.

I think maybe because of its meaning. And the Frenchness of it. I just see American parents thinking they're chic for using French, cool for using something that means "handsome", and winning because obviously their child will be the most beautiful child of them all. Levi, I've met a ton of in elementary school. Them, not me. Ha. I do like the sound of Levi, LEE-vie, but again, just too much.
