Delilah
WDYTO this name? Are Adeline and Delilah too close for sisters? BTW, the biblical character connotation does not bother me.

I like Delilah. It is pretty and cute (I used to hate it but I have found it growing on me lately). And to me the Biblical connotation is good...I think the Biblical Delilah was a strong and resourceful woman and an early feminist!

I like Delilah but I don't think I could use it. As others have mentioned there's this horribly schmaltzy radio show host that plays sappy love songs named Delilah. Can't stand her. I'd like for her to go off air so this could become usable to me again.I'm on the fence as to whether Adeline and Delilah are too close for sisters. Currently I'm leaning towards not.

It has a pretty sound, and the Tom Jones song is nice too. But I associate it not only with the Biblical Delilah (I am not a Christian but her mean trick on Samson still bothers me) but also with that loathsome, smarmy, gushing radio "personality" Delilah. Think Dr. Laura with no Dr. title and with cheesy love songs.

That radio Delilah makes me gag.

Oh, I forgot about her. Blech. I do like Delilah, though, and it is a nice sister for Adeline. I don't think they're too close.

Aaaahh, she is so insufferable! *vomitvomitvomit*

she is that...That kind of show is just the higher-tech version of women getting together, telling sob stories and griping about men and then running down any other woman that happens not to be there.
