WDYT of Morwenna?
I have recently come to love the name Morwenna, and if I can get it passed hubby I may use this as a fn for the little one I am expecting in April. I just wanted to get some opinions on what people in general thought of this name. Thanks.

Thanks for all the feedback. I think the reason this name appeals to me is because it has a more exotic/mystical feel to it. For me, it's one of those names that when you first see it, it is suprising, but then the more you think about it the more you can't forget it or let go of it. I just love this name. I also think the nn Wenna is cute. Thanks again.

Love itI first heard the name from the Poldark books / TV series. Morwenna is a minor character, but the name always stuck in my head. The story takes place in 18th century Cornwall (= southwestern England). I'm delighted that someone is considering it for a child.

I am sort of surprised at myself, because I like it. It has a pleasant sound and has some cute potential nicknames.

Its definately different. But I like different names. This name isn't really my style but if you do use it have you thought of nn's to shorten it a bit like Mora or something like that.

It's NMS, it kind of reminds me of a witch.

Given her screenname, this might not be a deterrent :b
