The meaning of the name Siddalee, or Sidda. All I know about this name is that it's the first name of the main character in at least two books by Rebecca Wells, and it *might* be made up, but I am pregnant and promised my husband to look for the meaning.
We are also looking for names that mean "Destiny's Friend" in any language, female.

Hi, Luna. If you're not shy about posting your last name on this board, I believe that PriaposLovs and I can probably come up with a lovely girl's first and middle name which, when combined with your last name, will form an anagram of any of the following:
"Destiny's Friend"
"A Friend of Destiny"
"I Am Destiny's Friend"
"I Am a Friend of Destiny"
It won't work unless we have your last name, too, to work into the anagram. Anagrams are like oracles -- and being able to give a baby a name which is an anagram of the precise sentiment you wish to convey will make that name a very powerful influence on your child's future.

Possibly the name is related to Siddel, a male Old English meaning "from the wide valley". Unless the character in the book is into Hindu mysticism (Sidda is a school of Yoga meditation).

I chose to use the surname "Futrell", assuming that this is the name which will appear on your child's birth certificate and also the name by which she will be known in life.
I also substituted the word "ally" for "friend", as it means essentially the same thing and I needed that double "l" to make the anagram work.
