I am pregnant and going thru the normal motions
looking into names. I like the name Kearstyn Mackenzie for a
girl, I am not finding the meaning of Mackenzie as a girls name.
Only as a boy. Also I did find the meaning for Kearstyn (Annointed)
Any help would be appreciated.

I have found a few different meanings for the name Mackenzie
From the Gaelic surname Mac Coinnich, which means "son of Coinneach". Coinneach is an Irish name meaning "handsome". I also found (a while back) that Mackenzie as either a boy/girl name means 'of the handsome man'
Originating from: Scottish
Traditional meaning: Son of Kenzie, Kenneth; fair; favored one.
Name Origin: Irish
Meaning: Daughter Of A Wise Leader

MacKenzie meaning same for both (f) and (m), it comes from a last name I believe
