You probably already know this, but Eudoxia was originally a Greek name meaning "highly regarded" (according to http://www.weddingvendors.com/baby-names/meaning/eudoxia).

Actually....

...Eudoxia does *also* mean "highly regarded".
In ancient Greek, "doxa" also means "opinion"

Not exactly . . .

Eudoxia means "good fame", which is somewhat like "highly regarded" but isn't the same thing. Click here: Eudoxia for the etymological breakdown of the parts of the name.
