I was watching "Save the Last Dance", does anyone know about the name CHENILLE??

'Chenille' is the French word for: 'caterpillar'. (The larva, not the vehicle.)

Chenille is a soft woolly silky fabric, sort of like satin wool, used mostly to make sweaters and blankets.I assume that's where the name is from.

I believe its either a type of perfume or clothing line...but spelt differnt, liek Chanel or Chanelle:)

Chanel is preonounced CHA-NEL , Chenille has the NILLE not EL :)
