LAFAUN-I have been told by some that it means "mist on the water" and is Indian in origin. I am cherokee,osage. I have also been told that Faun is greek in origin and is like "pan" the half human-goat. He has pointy ears, goats tail and bottom half and is very michivious. He lives in the forrest with all the other fairy's. My question for everyone is if it is American Indian,what is it's meaning? What tribe?Even though the greek meaning has some merit in my personality traits all except the "fairy thing".
