I worked with a woman about 11-12 years ago that named her daughter Melia. I remember her saying Melia was the name of one of her husband's ex-girlfriends. The name did fit the baby; the baby was adorable, with lots of dark hair. I often wonder how that marriage turned out; I know that Jenny (the baby's mom) really didn't like the name Melia, but she went along with her husband just to keep peace in the family. To me, it would be hard to name my baby after one of my husband's ex-girlfriends!
