Don't you agree that they should add these names to the site?
It would catergorize under literacy. Elrohir and Elladan (The Twins Stars of Imladris) are the twin sons of Lord Elrond. To those who havent' read Lord of the Rings, but seen the movie, Elrond is the Elf with the big forehead who holds the council in Rivendell and does that freaky eye-brow thing when Merry and Pippin jump in.Elrohir = elf-knight, elf-rider. It is also possible to translate this as star-knight/star-rider, which is charming, but there is no evidence that Tolkien intended this translation.Elladan = Elf-man. This seems boring until we analyse the etymological significance of the word “dan”. Strictly speaking, it means "man." In usage, it means Númenorean, advanced man, wise man, as in Dúnedain. There is also overlap with the word “dan” meaning “wright or smith”. (Círdan [singular name, ship-wright] Mírdain [plural name, jewel-smiths]). So the highest, most knowing sort of man is what is implied here – a man of lore and craft, significant ideas in the Tolkien universe.

The names that should be included are the ones that get used in everyday life, not the one-hit wonder names that never escape from their books. If enough people use them to make a blip on the baby-naming radar, then yes, of course.

If Mike includes those names in the site, there will be Star Wars fans(the ones who have read the books, of course...) demanding for names like Yoda,Chewbacca and Jar-Jar to be included as well.Humble opinion... :op

Apparently not, o single-host-ess....You know, Tolkien's languages are so disappointing - all those words for maidens and flowers, and not a single frog.
