My mother has cousin with the name Effie prn. Eh-fee.
My family is Greek, so the name should be Greek.
There is no listing of the name on this website. Would anyone know the meaning of the name?Thank You.

Hi fellow Greeks, greetings from the old country :)
Well, Effie (¸öç if you can read Greek fonts) can be short for several names including Ifigenia, Euphemia, Euphrosene etc :)

I'm Greek (well, sort of...mixed somewhere) and maybe Effie is a short from of a name? sorry, I don't think i'm of much help here:).
