i have looked at your web site and many others and i can't find my name any where. i have no idea what it means and where it comes from. my parents got from a character in the cartoon series Heman master of the universe. some people have told me that they have met other people with my name but its spelled t-i-l-a instead of t-e-e-l-a. please help me!

My name is a family name. My great grandmother was named Artelia. Her husband called her his "TEELA". my dad passed the name onto me.It was her mother's name also. Tila is a latin form of our name, it means linden leaves. they have a tea made of those leaves called te de tila.
