Wow! Thanks, Satu! Tell me something. How would you pronounce the "ks" together? Is the "k" silent?

No, it isn't silent!Hi again Gwenhwyfar!KS is pronounced just like X in the word "six", so the K isn't silent. Ksenia is just a "spelling" variation of Xenia not a "pronunciation" variation.Satu

OkayOK. I used to think that Xenia was pronounced "zen-ya." Yes, I know. Xenia is the Polish version of Ksenia.

please, give some cultural details. Here in Essex i'd pronounce it Ts-ayniuh, but i've never heard it.

It's a Polish name, but I think it might be Swedish or Russian too.

Well, the person I know who has this name was born in Russia but now lives in Sweden, so one of those would be fine.
