I really don't know anything about names/forms/etc. However, what are some of the common endings used to form pet names? In English speaking countries we use a Y, or use medieval forms such as Ned, Nell, etc. What are the endings used in Eastern European countries?

Central & Eastern Europe - For females it's KA and for males is EK (most common I believe).

In Croatia we use -ica (pr. ee-tz-ah) for female names, like Mara - Marica, Kata - Katica, Jana - Janica...

And Daliborka is a female form of Dalibor.
