I named my daughter Zipporah. I wanted a unique name for my daughter. Our ethnic group is white. I was just wondering if I can find out anything else about the name Zipporah?

Well, in the book 'Night' by Elie Wiesel, a Jewish boy during the Holocaust, his sister's name is Tziporah, I don't know if that's of any significance or not.

I love the name Tziporah as well as Zipporah! If you want more information you could always read the Bible (one with a really good reference or even a Biblical Dictionary), which is where the name is originally from. I think that it would be a good place to start, and you can always search the internet if the Bible doesn't answer questions about the name that you perhaps wanted.
