Could it be possible for the names Thea and Theia to have the same meaning and background. I am aware that the names have different meanings. It is just strange to me considering that they sound the same are the same except for the i spelling in Theia. Im just curious because I love the Thea spelling but I love the meaning and history of the name Theia.

So that is why I am asking this question. Is it possible to use the name Thea and have the same meaning as Theia ?

In a round about way, they kind of do. They are different manifestations of the same Greek name element.
