can Yukiko be used for...
I was wondering if Yukiko could be used as "Winter child" too, instead of just "Snow child"

... winter child? No.The name written in Kanji is:
雪子As you can see here:

the first Kanji is really the Kanji for snow, not for winter. You can even see four snow flakes falling down in the Kanji. (Well, to be honest, these are four rain drops...)Furthermore: Not only is the Kanji for snow used; "yuki" is the Japanese word for snow, spoken as thus, and again not for winter.
