Lórien means "garden" in Quenya, one of Tolkien's invented Elvish languages. It's pronounced with a short 'o', as in the English 'lorry' - not with a drawn-out 'o', like in the American 'Lori'. I know that's counter-intuitive, but there are several recordings of Tolkien himself reciting some of his poems, and that's how he says it.:-)
