Our Lady of Dorleta is venerated at Leintz-Gaztaga (Euskadi), a village well known for its salt-works.
Dorleta comes from the Basque dorla, name of the square used to obtain salt (near the sanctuary there are these squares). The suffix -eta is not a diminutive, but a locative "place of" (as in Zelaieta, e.g.): "place of dorlas".
