A couple of names
There are two medieval male names that I have questions about:1. Nevelet - Allegedly a rare medieval English given name. Nivelet is a variant. I googled it and found it used as a French surname. Anyone know its meaning/origin?2. Evo - A baby name site listed this as a form of the medieval name Ivo. Is this true?

EvoEvo (pronounced EH-boh) is the masculine Spanish form of Eva. It is very odd, but masculinisations of feminine names are not unknown in Spanish (specially in Mexican Spanish and in American Spanish in general): Susano, Eleno, Mónico...Probably some English speakers have mixed Evo with Ivo because they are pronouncing both name very similarly. Just like Aron mixed with Erin, Adan mixed with Aidan...However, perhaps in some other language Evo was used as variant of Ivo.
