How is this name pronounced?
Since English is not my native language, I would like to hear from those whose native language is English how the name Farran is pronounced. If possible, I would also like to know whether there is any difference in how Americans and Britons pronounce the name.Thank you very much for your help. :)

American. I say FAH-rin.

I've never seen it before, but I taught a girl named Farrah (in South Africa) who pronounced it FA-ra, with the second a being the neutral vowel and the first being the a in ash or apple. I would do the same with Farran, at a guess.I'm South African, but when I'm in the UK I merge with the natives!

I'm British and I'd pronounce it 'FAH-ran'/'FAH-ren'.

I'm American and I've never seen it before, but I'd pronounce it FAYR-ən. But, like Kate said, FAHR-ən makes sense too.

I would say FAR-an basing it on Farrier which is from the same root meaning iron, rather than FAIR-an. But I've never heard the name before.
